Background: Kane is an old, trail-worn elf who grew up in the rich stretches of forest that lay in the northern shadows of the moutains of Eladas. He hailed from a sparse and nomadic stock of woodland elves. These woodland elves know little of magic or technology and are considered a dying breed to other more civilized races. When Kane was younger, Wilders and Mountain Elves began encroaching on the virgin woodlands where he was raised. In time, conflict broke out and his kind were driven deep into the mountains; into areas thought uninhabitable by sapient races. Kane made his way as a hunter and trapper. With time he gained an intimate skill and knowledge of the fauna and flora of the mountains of Eladas. He began hunting and trapping rare and valuable creatures and selling them to the dwarves of the Stone Kingdom. During the First Mythril War, Kane fought in a diverse factions lead by Enido Cirien, an elvish prince who had sided with the Stone Dwarves. He also fought in the Elven Civil War, but departed from the band (which would later become known as the Swiftfeet Band) after it began to disperse at the end of these wars.
